Your Wedding Films must be notified immediately of any changes in schedule or location, at least one week prior to the scheduled date of event. Notification of any changes can be made by phone along with written notice sent via email for documentation. If an email is sent, a confirmation of receipt must be in writing. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm all arrangements at least 7-10 days prior to the event. In the event of change of address or contact information (time, etc.) as listed, you must notify Your Wedding Films.


A non-refundable retainer fee of 50% of total balance is required to hold the date of your event. No date is reserved until a retainer is received. The balance of the complete package price must be paid at the date specified herein. If final payment is not received as set forth herein, Your Wedding Films reserves the right to withhold delivery of the videos and/or not attend the wedding until payment is received. Upon clients signature and payment of retainer fee, Your Wedding Films agrees to reserve the date and time specified. The retainer fee is applied towards the final contracted wedding package.


There shall be NO refund of retainer after 48 hours from the signing of agreement due to the reservation of the videography date. Any other arrangements shall be discussed between the client and Your Wedding Films. All arrangements will be put in writing. Cancellation must be in writing even if a phone call was made to inform Your Wedding Films of the cancellation. The cancellation fee will be transferable up to 365 days after cancellation. The client agrees to not expect a new date to automatically be available. The client will be given the chance to reschedule but cannot be pushed ahead of other reserved clients.


Due to the limited and subjective nature of the event Your Wedding Films cannot be held responsible for requested videography not taken or missed, lack of coverage resulting from weather conditions, or schedule complications caused by but not limited to, anyone in or at the event, or by the church or location restrictions. The photographer/videographer is not responsible for lost photo/video opportunities due to any kind of equipment malfunction, the lateness of the event couple, or other principles. The Photographer/Videographer is not responsible for the lack of coverage due to weather conditions, scheduling complications due to lateness of individuals, rules and restrictions of venue, or the rendering of decorations of the location. It is acknowledged that any lists submitted to Your Wedding Films will be used for organizational purposes only and in no way represents photography/videography that will actually be produced. Your Wedding Films will do his/her best to fulfill all requests but can make no guarantees all photos/videos will be delivered. Clients are responsible for all location fees and permits.


If Your Wedding Films or its assignees, cannot perform this agreement due to a fire, casualty, strike or other civil disturbances, Acts of God, including but not limited to, road closures, severe traffic, fire, terrorism or other causes beyond the control of the parties, or due to the photographer/videographer's illness, then Your Wedding Films shall return any moneys paid by the client, less expenses, but shall have no further liability with respect to the agreement. This limitation of liability shall also apply in the event that photography/videography materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera malfunction, memory card malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without the fault on the part of Your Wedding Films.


In the event of severe weather, including but not limiting, a blizzard, severe rain storm or other unforeseeable events Your Wedding Films may make the decision that it’s unsafe to drive home, and hotel stay will be billed to the client.  


If the ceremony or reception provides a "COORDINATOR/ EVENT GUIDE", the client is responsible for communicating all day of information. Including, but not limited to: time line, itinerary, schedules, etc.; with Your Wedding Films prior to the wedding day. One week prior to the wedding date, Your Wedding Films will provide the client with a specialized day of itinerary. THIS IS TO BE SHARED WITH ANY PARTIES INVOLVED IN THE WEDDING INCLUDING THE WEDDING COORDINATOR/EVENT GUIDE.


Your Wedding Films shall be the exclusive photographer/videographer(s) retained by the client for the purpose of capturing the wedding. Family and friends of the clients and other wedding vendors shall not interfere with the photographer/videographer’s duties. Additional professional photographers/videographers may be employed only with prior written permission from Your Wedding Films. Guest photographers/videographers may NOT be active during the ceremony obstructing Your Wedding Films duties. Your Wedding Films spends special time planning and posing your wedding and asks that guest NOT intervene. Your Wedding Films will request your intervention if a guest is inhibiting our ability to full document your wedding.


It is the clients’ responsibility to schedule and receive permission to use various locations for photo/video, including the wedding and reception locations and any other locations used during the day. Should a location require a payment, this payment will be paid by the clients.


The photographer(s)/videographer(s) will be allowed one 20 minute break at their own discretion, and bathroom breaks when necessary. Each photographer/videographer will be provided a full guest meal for weddings lasting longer than 5 hours. 


Returned checks are subject to a $50.00 returned check fee. Client assumes responsibility for any and all collection costs and legal fees incurred by Your Wedding Films in the event that enforcement of this contract becomes necessary. All legal action shall take place in Morris County, New Jersey.


Your Wedding Films cannot be held responsible for damage to garments during environmental events. Client is responsible to arrange personal assistance for wedding garments. Your Wedding Films will not put any parties in a situation (unless requested by bride or groom) that will cause harm or damage to special garments. However, to achieve certain videos, the clients agree that will trust the discretion of Your Wedding Films and assistants. 


Client(s) acknowledge that all work created under this agreement is the intellectual property of the photographer/videographer who shall retain the copyright to the photos and video footage.

Client(s) may post the photo/video online and agree not to digitally manipulate the Work. Any use of the video in featured publications or websites must be accompanied by a credit of “Created By: Your Wedding Films” 


In the event of illness or sudden event out of the control of both parties, Your Wedding Films will attempt to substitute a photographer/videographer at no cost to client. This contract will be transferable to said photographer/videographer. 


The Clients grant the photographer/videographer and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns, the irrevocable and unlimited consent to use the video of the Clients for editorial, competition, advertising and any other purpose and in any manner and to alter the photo/video without restriction. The Clients hereby release the videographer and its legal representatives, heirs and assigns from all liability and claims in connection with the images. 


While the photographer/videographer takes the utmost care with respect to shooting, editing and delivering the product, in the event that the files becomes lost, stolen or destroyed, for reasons within or beyond the control of the photographer/videographer, liability is limited to a refund of the payment received. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price stated herein. Your Wedding Films will not be held responsible for any ruined photos or video footage due to guests and/or other vendors, or outside of Your Wedding Films’s control.

In the event that Your Wedding Films is unable to capture the wedding due to: illness, emergency, accident, or Act of God, every effort will be made to find a suitable photo/video replacement. If a replacement is unavailable, the payment(s) made to Your Wedding Films will be refunded in full, and return of the payment(s) shall be the entire obligation under this contract. No other damages or guarantees of any kind are recognized or warranted.

In the event that the client(s) reschedule the wedding/event and Your Wedding Films is able to rebook the original wedding/event date, Your Wedding Films will amend the wedding/event date in this contract and client(s) will receive credit for all monies paid up to the date client(s) requests the wedding/event be rescheduled.

In the event that the client(s) reschedule the wedding/event and Your Wedding Films is NOT able to book the new wedding/event date, client(s) will forfeit the Cancellation Fee (20% of balance), but receive credit for all other monies paid.

In the event that the client(s) cancels the wedding/event outright, Client will forfeit the retainer (50% deposit) to Your Wedding Films in the case that the wedding/event is cancelled. Cancellation must be in writing (print or email) even if a phone call was made to inform Your Wedding Films of the cancellation.
